Someone who answered one of my posts relating to Jackson and Hughes mentioned they were interested in the name Bocquet, particularly a sea Captain who was married to a Bocquet in the first World War. I cannot find the message but have now the details of a person to contact regarding this couple. If easier i can be reached at pdeloriol [at] aol.com.

If you have information to add to this query, it may be better to continue to post on this thread, especially, as you have discovered, our posts are picked up by google and other search engines and is a good place to make new contacts.

Update: Still trying to locate descendants of Captain Bertram Sutton Evans and wife Ethel Florence Bocquet. Their daughter Patricia Jeanette ('Patsy') Saunders did indeed have children: Patrick Saunders born in 1937 on the Isle of Wight, and David Saunders (no details as yet).
If that does not work, Google the Great War Forum, scroll down to its 'Ships & Navy' section and it was the first item a few minutes ago, headed 'looking for a photo...'
