Died, 17April 1946,
Husband of, Bertha Mary Ormrod.

"JOHN L MANSON was a N3-S-A1 standard cargo vessel, built in 1944 by Penn-Jersey Shipyards Corp at Camden NJ. On delivery to the War Shipping Administration in 1944 she was bareboat chartered to the UK's Ministry of War Transport and placed under managenment of Currie Line Ltd. She was later returned to the US Government and sold in 1951 to American owners who renaqmed her ALASKA CEDAR. She was wrecked on the North Jetty at Coos Bay, Oregon on 2 December 1962"

Thanks Bert wonder if he was related to John Ormrod Chief constable of Wallasey during the world war 11 ?
