Ford cemetery look up if possible

Post by Barbara B »

Hap0y New Year to everybody.
I'm having a look at some unsolved mysteries - too much Christmas telly! I' ve found Nicholas Albert Green buried in Ford cemetery in 1916 but can't get any more info. I'm interested to see who, if anyone, is buried with him. It's a long shot but at least I'll have given it a try.
Thanks for any ideas or help.

The information given for that burial is

Nicholas Albert Green, 289 Marsh Lane, Bootle
Buried 29 May 1916 Grave No. C78

It is the Grave No. that needs checking, will have to wait until next week.

Thank you Mary for the prompt response. I suspected that would be all I could find on line. I would be very grateful for anything else if you have the time next week. There's no rush - he's not going anywhere!

Hi Barbara
I found some paperwork the other day about my great nan who died in 1944 and my nan had bought a family grave at Ford Cemetery. I got in touch with Marienne on roots chat and she gave me the plot number. Sadly there was no one else buried with her. I only had the date roughly of when she was buried say that week sometime.

Marienne/Ozranga has Liverpool RC Cemeteries family plot records so she has easy access to this sort of information. Just add you request to her look-up offer thread.

As my offer is redundant I will delete your request from my list.

Marienne was a long time member of our Forum. She continues her look ups on Rootschat, a lovely lady!

Just a quick update on Nicholas Green's grave. Marienne found the plot and there were other Greens buried with him. Unfortunately they were the next generation and I had been hoping for the previous one to confirm I had he right man. Hey ho.
Thanks to Blue and Lin and Mary for her initial kind offer of a lookup.
