Bryan Family West Derby Liverpool
Bryan Family West Derby Liverpool
I am carrying out some research of my own BRYAN family tree, and have a distant branch of Bryans who moved to the West Derby area around 1850 or so. Names include Joseph Harold Bryan, William Thomas Bryan, George Augustus Bryan, Percy Adolphus Bryan and quite a few more. If anyone is also researching this name, or has links to these people in this area, please get in touch. Thanks. Robert.

Re: Bryan Family West Derby Liverpool
Given the links between Lancashire and Ireland some of the Bryans in the North West of England will have Irish roots. Looking at the 1851 England Census a search for Irish-born Bryans in Lancashire gives 14 pages of results.

Re: Bryan Family West Derby Liverpool
Hi Blue
Thanks for your response. My Bryan ancestor moved to West Derby from St Pancras after getting married, so I'm not aware of any Irish connection. But I will check the 1851 census as you suggest, just in case.
Thanks
