Hi All I'm looking for the second Marriage of My Gr. Grandmother Sarah Ellen Pearce Late Shaw 25.4.1846 born in Sandbach Cheshire First to Francis Sturgis Pearce . She Married John Smith a Tug Boat Engine Driver . and had a son William Henry Smith 21.3.1889 in Birkenhead she lived at 12 Elm St. Birkenhead . Her First Husband Died at 23 Earl St Tranmere 6.12.1886 on His Death Certificate she gave his name as Francis Joseph Pearce .His fathers name at 23 Earl St. Tranmere I can't find the Marriage , Did she marry or was she telling Porkies ?

I suspect John Smith and Sarah Ellen Pearce never married, in 1904 at St Nicholas, Scotland, Sarah Ellen Pearce married John Lane, ( no credits to open it)

Her father is most likely, Samuel Grimmer, not sure if Minnie Pearce is her mother?

Samuel Grimmer married Minnie Pearce, 1902, St Nicholas, Aberdeen.

Samuel Grimmer, Trawler Master, lost at sea, Cape Wrath, 1908.
