The pictures have started coming via email, they have brought back so many memories for my father and my aunt, speaking with my father this morning and he has been overcome with emotion after viewing them........especially after seeing the ones of his Uncle Edward!

i came across your post when i keyed in 63 denbigh street, bootle. My grangfather lived at 63 my grandmother at 65 denbigh street, Bootle. What a coincidence. I read your story, about uncle ted, my mums uncle ted did the exact same thing and disappeared and resurfaced in australia. My mum emigrated to australia with her parents and siblings after ww2.
I know how frustrating it can be, to research in another country. So.....
Just wanted to let you know what information can be found on nsw death certificate. Full Name, Age, place of death, cause of death, Place of birth, Parents Names and occupation, including mothers maiden name (if known), Place of marriage and to whom, and at what age, children of the marriage (names if living). Number of years in the colony. Place of burial, religion, and minister as well as witness at the burial.
