George Lloyd Payne - death

I'm looking for the death of George Lloyd Payne. I have been told he died on the Isle of Man in 1940 whilst serving with the RAF but I can't find any record. I'd also like to know whether his name would appear on a war memorial as he was in the forces when he died.
He was born in Hubberstone, Pembrokeshire in 1885 and joined up at the age of 14! His RAF service number is 346032.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hilary put me into this site CWGC, Commonwealth War Graves Commision, ( Sorry don't know how you add the link) there is a Sergeant George LLoyd Payne, listed with the same service number, buried St Partricks Churchyard, Jurby, Isle of Man, death 22/05/1940

If you go on the record and you can search by Name, RAF, and Sevice number. It gives father a Charles Sampson Payne, Mother Annie, Husband of Phyllis Anne Payne, of Speke Liverpool

Grave Coll. 239, this maybe a war memorial??, maybe contacting CWGC maybe able to tell you

About the cemetery:

Location Information
Jurby is a village on the north-west coast of the Island and is reached from Ramsey, a seaport on the north-east coast six miles distant. The church of St. Patrick is the parish church of Jurby, and the churchyard is the parish burial ground, the Authority in which it is vested being the Incumbent and Churchwardens. It lies in an isolated position on the sea-coast, some way from the village, and covers one-and-a-half acres.

Historical Information
Early in the 1939-1945 War the Royal Air Force built an aerodrome at Jurby, about a mile from the church for use as a training school. The airmen who lost their lives while training there were buried in the churchyard, and a small section in the north-eastern corner was reserved for these service burials. This group of war graves is on the far side of the new extension to the old churchyard. The total number of 1939-1945 War burials is 43, and all except three are within the group.

The Isle of Man is neither part of England nor in the UK they have their own registration of births, marriages and deaths so the ordering of a death certificate needs to go via the Manx government. It's a while since I ordered a Manx death certificate and it looks to have changed somewhat. I'm not aware of a way of accessing the index details for a death from 1940 but you can still order the death certificate without the index details. Have a look at this link:-

Thanks to padjo, DS and Blue for the prompt and helpful replies. I'll have a look at all the links and hopefully fill in the gaps on George. I did find his early service record on Anc*** and he seems to have been in South Africa at one point. Puts me in mind of the poem by Thomas Hardy about 'Drummer Hodge'. You'd wonder why anyone would let a boy of 14 join up let alone go to war. Times have certainly changed.
