The brain is totally failing me!! I'll blame it on the loss of a chunk of tooth just as I started a Getting Started with your Family History session at the local library. It's the imminent dentist visit in Monday!!!!!

I looked at www.lancashirebmd.org.uk and got the only Davey/ Williams marriage in 1900 which led me to the one I posted

However I think the problem is that Williams didn't marry Davey at all
This from ww.freembd.org

It is fast becoming a case of ever-increasing circles.....
Where's me glasses, eraser, drawing board and me tablets? :roll:

My post was based on this:
Marriages Dec 1900 - W. Derby - 8b - 509:
Cunningham, Charles Falkner W;
Davey, Florence Pauline;
Flanagan, Mary Ann;
Williams, Benjamin Herbert

Plus, a Benjamin and Florence Williams who had been married 11 years in 1911!

Hmm! Oh well! And me thinking I had found the right Benjamin and the right wife...
There's only one Benjamin Herbert W whose birth is registered in Lancs between 1860 and 1880:
WILLIAMS, Benjamin Herbert
Registration district: Liverpool
Year of registration: 1880; Sep qtr
Volume no: 8B; Page no: 55

So he must have married Mary Ann Flanagan and they are living at 4 Askew Street, Walton, Liverpool with 5 children in 1910+1. And thank you to Hilary for the details of their marriage. It confirmed it was the right BHW. A little progress up the slippery slope...

Well at least that is sorted. Case closed! Apologies for the wild goose chase folks! :oops:
