1851 census - finding names from HO reference

Post by daggers »

I currently have access to census searches via Findmypast but cannot get to grips trying to work from a reference found on the web. I am trying to see who lived in a particular house.
It is: HO 107/2192, fo 1153.

If anyone has the skill to find that, perhaps they could give me a name (preferably an unusual one), and I can then get back to my searches.

The address should be in Aigburth area.

Thanks

I don't have the occupier's name, but might recognise it when I see it.

Bert
Thanks for that, but the house I am interested in was bigger than a cottage, so probably not the one you found.

The reference came via Google when I put in the name of the house which was Aigburth
Lodge, demolished late 1950s or early 1960s.

Thanks for help.

There are only 3 pages of the Census Summary Sheets for that Piece and Folio number.

1851 - Piece: 2192 - Folio: 1153 - Pages 1 to 3.
Registration District: West Derby
Civil Parish: Garston
County: Lancashire

So you can browse the pages, at the top of Page 1 is:
MOSS, John - Head - Married - 69 - 1782 - Magistrate & Banker - Liverpool, Lancashire
Otterspool, Aigburth Road, Garston.
