Information on Edward Leatherbarrow
I'm not surprised, it's a great result, especially with photographs too.

Re: Information on Edward Leatherbarrow
re- edward leatherbarrow.
i came across your post when i keyed in 63 denbigh street, bootle. My grangfather lived at 63 my grandmother at 65 denbigh street, Bootle. What a coincidence. I read your story, about uncle ted, my mums uncle ted did the exact same thing and disappeared and resurfaced in australia. My mum emigrated to australia with her parents and siblings after ww2.
I know how frustrating it can be, to research in another country. So.....
Just wanted to let you know what information can be found on nsw death certificate. Full Name, Age, place of death, cause of death, Place of birth, Parents Names and occupation, including mothers maiden name (if known), Place of marriage and to whom, and at what age, children of the marriage (names if living). Number of years in the colony. Place of burial, religion, and minister as well as witness at the burial.
https://familyhistory.bdm.nsw.gov.au/li ... ory/search
births deaths and marriage Images can be ordered online, and are sent via email.
https://www.records.nsw.gov.au/archives ... -research/
full of valuable information including wills, passenger lists and land records.
cheers and good luck.

Hi and welcome to the Forum. Unfortunately the original poster didn't become a member of the Society nor remain a member of the Forum, so he may not receive notification that you have added such an informative message to his post. Fingers crossed that he keeps checking to see if anybody has replied.
