I am trying to track down information on the ancestors listed below:
1. William BAKER who married Ann Metcalfe from Cumberland (b 1822) in Liverpool 1850 he was a mariner presumably born around 1820. Ann is in Liverpool 1851 census with son John and 'husband at sea' and 1901 census as a widow in Llandudno N. Wales. No sign of William in any census. They had three children John b.Liverpool1851, William 1852 and Isabella 1854.
2. Their son William BAKER (b Carlisle 1852, died Liverpool 1938) who ran a successful bakery in Mossley Hill with his wife Florence (nee Whitthread) and four children John W BAKER 1886- 1965, Violet Emily BAKER 1889- 1981, Mabel Edith 1891 - 1970 and William Edward 1893-1967- all born Liverpool...
3. Violet Emily BAKER married Albert GREENWOOD b.1890 in Liverpool in 1920 and had a son John Leslie GREENWOOD b 1922 who married an Ivy MEANEY in 1942. Are there any descendents ? thanks regards Martin Val Baker, Penzance. email address removed to prevent spamming - hover mouse over email button if it is needed. MA

Re: Baker Family Liverpool
Did they move to Carlisle in between the births of the children as they seem to have been baptised at least in Liverpool

30 November 1854 (born 20th)
