Post by davemchol »

hi im looking for some information on a grave location. The only thing I have at the moment is that Thomas died in the 4th quarter of 1952, i know he is buried at Anfield Cemetery, but think he may have been interred in a communal grave. Hope someone can help thanks in advance

Hi and welcome to the forum.

At that date the details of the grave are probably not online and your recourse will be the Liverpool Record Office where the register is kept.

There is also a central Register for all burials held at Allerton Cemetery Lodge.
Telephone: 0151 233 3004
E-Mail: cemeteriesandcrematoria@liverpool.gov.uk

They usually make a charge for checking their records, however if you were to have an exact date they might be a little more helpful.

There is also a burial look up service http://www.anfieldcemetery.co.uk/ but they will also charge.
