Hi,
I have family appearing on the 1891 census living in Baptist Street. I was wondering if anyone knew roughly where this was and what kind of houses it held?
Thanks
Denise
Edited to add: I should say this is in the St Annes Ward in Liverpool...
Good find Blue, well done. Baptist Lane in 1938 Directory, no houses listed.
1911 Directory Baptist St Mrs Beach coal dealer.
Welcome aboard Denise.

Wow, thank you for the info! It's practically in Little Italy isn't it? It looks like a slightly poorer area than Thurlow St where they were in the previous census and had a servant. Looks like they fell on hard times.
Thanks for the welcome, pretty new to all this and my head's in a bit of a spin! Is it ok to post similar questions on other boards?
We prefer to have you link when you have asked the same question elsewhere otherwise we might be duplicating research others have done.
