Nora Gwendoline Moon - bn 1892

Ms Nora Gwendoline Moon left for Sidney, Australia, on the 22nd Oct 1926, on board SS MAMILIUS, a vessel of the Aberdeen Line. She was a spinster, bn Bristol in 1892 of parents Edmund and Flora Annie Moon [nee Day]. They had died in 1925 and 1923 respectively.

Can any of our sharp-eyed folk find out what happened to Nora after her arrival? Did she marry? When did she die?

I did find this marriage but don't know if it is her...

Presumably you don't know whether she remained in Australia for the rest of her life. I was looking for a Nora Evans travelling, who matched the dob you gave and found this one (no other Evans are listed with her), the only problem is that she states she is Single,

Thanks for that find MaryA. The YoB is a match and this may have been a late registration... Births Sep 1892: Moon, Nora Gwendoline - Bristol 6a 38.

And while she was born in Bristol both her parents were born in Cornwall and she had many cousins, aunts and uncles there.

Nora was the eldest child of the family and I suspect may have been caring for her parents since she left the UK soon after her father died in 1926 aged 65 [Bristol - 6a - 57 - Dec qtr].

As she isn't a rellie of mine I am not going for the birth cert. Got a feeling this isn't my Nora!
